Flying Kite
Build a colorful paper kite while helping your toddler learn shapes and colors through creative play.
Materials
- White, blue, red, yellow, and green construction paper
- Red streamers
- Scissors
- Stapler
- Writing utensil
- Glue
Instructions
- Cut a large diamond shape from paper.
- Cut smaller triangle shapes from colored paper.
- Show your toddler how to glue the triangles onto the diamond.
- Have your toddler place and glue the shapes onto the kite.
- Add a streamer tail to the bottom of the kite.
Tips
Encourage your toddler to name each color or shape as they place it on the kite.
