Patterns
Create simple color patterns with everyday objects to help toddlers recognize sequences and build early problem-solving skills.
Materials
- Household objects in at least two different colors (e.g., LEGO blocks, paper pieces, blocks)
Instructions
- Create a simple pattern using two colors.
- Show your toddler how the pattern works.
- Have your toddler continue the pattern using the objects.
Tips
Start with a simple two-color pattern (like red, blue, red, blue) so your toddler can clearly see the sequence. As they become more confident, try adding a third color or changing the pattern to increase the challenge.
