Pumpkin seeds, green and orange markers, canvas, glue, food coloring, water, and vinegar
Place a handful of pumpkin seeds on a paper towel and let them dry overnight. To add color, mix a few drops of food coloring with one tablespoon of vinegar and a little water, then stir in the seeds and let them sit overnight. On a canvas, draw a pumpkin outline with orange and green markers to show where seeds should go. Read a book to your toddler to get them excited, then guide them as they place the seeds to match the colored outline.
