White construction paper, brown marker, paint in brown, purple, yellow, green, and orange, a paint tray, paintbrush, damp cloths, and a laminator (optional)
Place paint on a paper plate. Use a paintbrush to coat your child’s palm with brown paint, then quickly wipe it off with a damp cloth. Paint each finger a different color, wiping off each between colors. Press the painted hand onto a sheet of paper. Have extra cloths ready for cleanup. Finally, draw a nose and feet and add text: “I made this little turkey so everyone can see that I am thankful for my family who loves me!”
