ABC Color Categorization
Sort alphabet letters by color to strengthen early literacy, color recognition, and problem-solving skills.
Materials
- Alphabet magnets or puzzle letters
- Construction paper (different colors)
- Marker
Instructions
- Write the name of each color on separate pieces of construction paper.
- Show your toddler a letter and ask what color it is.
- Have your toddler place the letter on the matching colored paper.
Tips
Start with two clear groups first, then add more pieces once your toddler understands how to sort them.
